Yes e) Should school safety meetings be made available to the public?
Re B: with legalization comes regulation. Re: E: It depends on the topics. Whenever possible school meetings should be open to the public.

No b) Do you support lowering state taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?

No e) Do you support requiring welfare applicants to pass a drug test in order to receive benefits?
Yes f) Do you support an increase of the minimum wage of Pennsylvania?
Yes g) Do you support increasing state funding for road repairs?
re B. This is too broad a statement. We should close the Delaware loophole and thus be able to have funds for education AND be able to lower corporate taxes. re G: spending money on infrastructure repairs helps in many ways - jobs, of course, plus better transportation aiding businesses, and making life better for citizens who travel.
No a) Do you support adopting federal education standards in Pennsylvania?
No b) Do you support state funding for charter schools?
Yes c) Should immigrants unlawfully present in the United States who graduate from Pennsylvania high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities?
No d) Do you support providing virtual charter school alternatives to all K-12 students?
With respect to C I support the concepts and practices of DACA. In general, I favor better funding for public education, which is the base of an educated citizenry. Thaddeus Stevens had it right. In some cases charter schools can offer specific alternatives but they must complement and not ever be a drain on the public school system.
Yes a) Do you support state funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?
Yes b) Do you support state government regulations of greenhouse gas emissions?
Yes c) Do you support increasing state funding for clean drinking water initiatives?
We need to strengthen our regulation of energy production and distribution, especially with respect to natural gas, including methane, propane, etc. The installation of pipelines should be carefully regulated and inspected because of the hazards involved and because of the potential of harm to property owners over whose land the companies have rights of way. I would like to see our Attorney General do a review of how well landowners have been treated or mistreated in contractual, eminent domain, or on-site work and how carefully safety matters have been handled.
Yes a) Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
Yes b) Should background checks be required on gun sales between private citizens at gun shows?
No c) Should teachers be allowed to bring guns into the classroom?
No d) Should a license be required for gun ownership?
First, we must enforce gun laws now on the books and make sure the records kept are accurate and used. Under no circumstances should teachers have guns in the classroom.
Yes a) Should the state government increase funding for treatment facilities to combat opioid abuse?
Yes b) Do you support Medicaid expansion through Pennsylvania's health care programs?
Yes c) Do you support requiring individuals to purchase health care insurance?
Yes d) Do you support legislation that grants citizens the right to choose to die through euthanasia?
Yes e) Do you support eliminating religious exemptions for vaccinations?
Re: C. I believe a medicare for all system would be a fairer approach. Re E. This is a public health matter.
Yes a) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in Pennsylvania's anti-discrimination laws?
Yes b) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in Pennsylvania's anti-discrimination laws?
Yes c) Do you support greater efforts by Pennsylvania state government in closing the pay gap between men and women?
Equity in all matters is important to me. I have been advocating equal pay for equal work for many years and will continue to do so in the strongest way possible.
EQUITY - I advocate fairness in legislation covering redistricting of both Federal and State districts; equal treatment for all persons with respect to employment, housing, education, etc; fairness in property taxes, income taxes, and all other forms of taxation. EDUCATION - Strong public education is essential. I will work for accessible education for all ages. I will explore closing the Delaware loophole and taxing natural gas extraction to fund education. ENVIRONMENT - Our government is responsible for our natural resources and should guard them carefully, not allowing them to be destroyed or taken by eminent domain for private gain.
